At Studiodent office, we strive to be a progressive practice offering the latest advancements and techniques in orthodontics. Orthodontic problems, which can result from genetic and environmental factors, must be diagnosed before treatment begins. Proper diagnosis involves taking photographs, x-rays, and dental impressions, which enable us to make informative decisions about the form of treatment necessary. Our treatment philosophy encourages our patients and their parents to not only get involved, but also have a detailed understanding of their treatment.

Whether you are considering child braces, adolescent braces or adult braces, we can help you achieve a healthy, beautiful smile that will last a lifetime!
Early treatment
![]() |
For parents, it’s not always easy to know if your child may need orthodontic treatment. The recommended age that the initial orthodontic evaluation should occur is at the age of 7, when the first adult molars erupt, establishing the back bite. During this time, an orthodontist can evaluate side to side and front to back jaw and teeth relationships |
Adolescent treatment
![]() |
The most common age to begin treatment is between the ages of 11 to15. Typically by age 12, most of the permanent teeth have erupted and are in place. Crowded teeth, spaces, and bad bites can be easily detected. Because these problems rarely correct themselves, most parents decide to seek orthodontic treatment. |
Adult treatment

A beautiful smile at any age is timeless.
Braces are no longer just for kids. Tooth alignment can be achieved at any age provided that your gum tissue and jaw structure are healthy. Our office offers a variety of treatments that are designed specifically with adults in mind. |
Braces
![]() |
Stainless steel fixed appliances (braces) are comprised of small stainless steel squares (“brackets”) that are bonded with dental adhesive directly to the enamel surfaces of the teeth. Today’s metal braces are smaller, more comfortable and more attractive. |
Removable appliances
![]() |
Removable Orthodontic Appliances are often utilized during the course of limited tooth movement within primary, mixed or permanent dentitions. They may be employed in either upper or lower arches and typically incorporate finger springs or elastics as active components. |
Retention appliances
![]() |
The final stage of your orthodontic treatment is called the retention stage. This stage occurs once we remove your braces and it will last a minimum of 12 months and may last indefinitely, depending on your original condition. Retainers support the teeth in their corrected positions and guide the teeth into the established occlusion. They are used to maintain a previous orthodontic result or to simply prevent undesirable movement of the teeth. |
TADs
![]() |
Temporary anchorage devices, or TADs, are ultra small titanium mini screws anchors that are thoughtfully placed in the bone to help affect desired tooth movement. They are used in certain orthodontic cases to help achieve quicker tooth movement with more efficiency and comfort. |
Inman Aligner
![]() |
The Studiodent dental office is proud to introduce a new cutting edge procedure, the Inman Aligner. A fantastic alternative to other orthodontic appliances, the Inman Aligner is a simple way of being able to straighten your teeth and is great choice for adults who experience a relapse of tooth movement. |
