Tooth extractions
![]() |
Tooth extraction is the last resort. We will try to prevent tooth loss and will advise you on how to avoid this in the future. However if you need an extraction we do them painlessly! Tooth extractions may be performed when a tooth is broken, damaged or diseased, or if the tooth results in overcrowding in the mouth. Teeth may also be extracted as a precursor to other dental procedures, such as dental implants, bridges or dentures. |
Impacted teeth

Impactions can be caused by improper positioning of the developing tooth bud. This can cause the tooth to fail to erupt into the mouth. Impactions can also be caused by early loss of primary teeth or crowding of teeth. Wisdom teeth are the most commonly impacted teeth. |
